how to add NDde namespace to .NET

Hi all,
I'm not a programmer, and I've learned myself some VB.net out of necessity.
I downloaded NDde, where do I have to copy the files, or how do I get this integrated with .NET's namespace.?

I have an application I wrote in VB.
I imagine I would address the NDde methods like so:

Dim myapp As String
Dim Mytopic As String
Using client As System.NDde.DdeClient = New System.NDde.DdeClient("myapp", "Mytopic")

End Using

However I get the error :
Type 'System.NDDe.DdeClient' is not defined.

I can't use Visual Studio. so I have no clue on how to get the NDde namespace included.
Any help, much appreciated.

These are the instructions for VS:
In the "Solution Explorer" tree expand you project's branch.
Double click the "My Project" item to open up the project's properties.
Pick the "References" tab.
Click the "Add" button to bring up the "Add Reference" dialog.
Select the "Browse" tab.
Navigate to your NDde.dll (or whatever it's called) and double click it.

Thanks for the reply. However I can't use VS. since I use an editor build into an application. Just FYI it is called stockfinder. www.stockfinder.com

Here a snippet from code that I have written.
For example to use the data.oledb namespace
I have to address it as system.data.oledb. and that works fine.

I'd like to be able to do the same with the NDde namespace.
Like so:

Bit I'm getting an error. I'm sure its because it's not part of .NET
So How do I get it imported in the .NET namespace?
Oh and by the way I can't use "Imports" command at start of the code.

I'm sorry, I'm not a programmer, and my experience is limited to just the editor I'm using in stockfinder. But it supports all the .NET namespaces. so hopefully there is a way to make .NDde part of the .NET.
hope I'm making sense.
